Neat story.
A few weeks ago when I was going through security at Shake the Lake, I saw the poster for Lyle Lovett and his Small Large Band and mentioned to the woman who checked my tickets that I would love to see Lyle Lovett. She told me that tickets were still available and so, I'm going.
Lyle Lovett and his Small Large Band play the Conexus Arts Centre on September 22, 2026. The Hello Darlins open the show. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. I believe that tickets are still available. Or rather, I'm sure there are because there were a lot left when we bought our tickets.
Lyle Lovett is a great artist and while I have never seen him play live, he's been on my list for a long time. I admire how he refuses to let genre get in the way of a good song and always love a good storyteller. And so I am really looking forward to seeing him play live. And while I promise to write about the show after, I really encourage you to come check out Lyle Lovett if you're in Regina or in the mood for a trip to the QC.
