A major part of my methodology involves reusing software—a key part of my process is testing each module in a reusable starter package to ensure it runs on its own. While working on the FitnessTracker app, I spun off a new project using that same approach.

StorePhotos is a privacy-first way to organize photos across multiple storage devices—fully locally, with no cloud dependency. It would have been invaluable when my business partner and I were publishing the Regina Streets Magazine, where images came from countless sources and formats.

Like my other products, StorePhotos has zero telemetry, and it comes with a built-in support and logging system powered by Formimp and Siteimp. That means world-class customer support is there by default.

Most importantly for me, StorePhotos is also about learning. Photography has been a hobby for years, but as my design skills have grown, so has my interest in the art side—especially composition and other photography fundamentals. I’m sharing what I learn along the way (and maybe in a year, I’ll look back and laugh at how little I knew).
